1st Annual Rincon Luau
The 1st Annual Rincon Luau was a magical evening set on Rincon Point to benefit the Surf Happens Foundation, a local nonprofit providing access to free surf programs and environmental awareness education to local youth. Over 120 people came to support the event and enjoyed a professional Polynesian dance performance, live music by Justin Ratowsky, Pete Muller & Chris Keet, and the David Courtenay Band, incredible food and exotic cocktails.
Board member and event chair, Vanessa Decker worked tirelessly to create a seamless event with her networking committee, event planner Jaime kostechko of Wild heart events, and Executive Director Jenny Keet. The event raised over $60,000 towards the budding non-profits community programs for our youth. We have lots of ideas for next year-stay tuned!
