The Jenny Schatzle Program has teamed up with Surf Happens Surf School to launch the first annual JSP Beach Party on Sunday August 21 at Santa Claus Lane Carpinteria. The JSP Beach Party is an all ages event designed as a community team builder that raises funds for the Surf Happens Foundation in an effort to share the ocean with local at risk and low income families.
Festivities kick off at 11am and run until 3pm and include beach games and relay races, dodge ball, a JSP obstacle course, surf lessons for the whole family, food by Duo Catering, drink from Rincon Brewery, and live music from Oriana and Eric Iverson (ONE) from Soul Majestic. All participants receive a re-usable bag, drink tin, t-shirt, and hat as well as food and drink! Wetsuits and surf boards provided.
